The older original ZD Game Recorder was a great program until they went a do-all- and it sucks at recording games after- basically does not work at all recording games. I have the paid version or ZDsoft Screen Recorder, but it sucks for game recording, but is fine for desk-top recording which I do little of that. I normally use programs like built into Windows Xbox Game Recorder and it does well- never any problems. I do see this program has an A-Gif Creator and Screen Recorder and can output MP4 audio. I do like making Animated Gifs from shots pulled from my game play videos. Thinking I might try the MP4 audio codec in the future, it's just I am used to and always use mp3 and it's small file size. I sometimes need or convert the audio to mp3 or at times convert my cd's to mp3 to play on my pc. I do sometimes record my playback, and maybe upload to Youtube and then to Steam or maybe Facebook. I build my own computers and do so to mostly play PC Games and normally on Steam. The cam is not what I am here to ask or talk about. I plan to buy a digi cam in the future, thinking about the Panasonic LUMIX FZ300 Long Zoom Digital Camera. I have tried to search the net and find out a few things about this software with no luck, so I joined the forum to see if this program is good for me. I am new here and have not actually bought this program yet but setting up the forum account kind of made me say so.
